Happy Anniversary MDRT Foundation!

The MDRT Foundation was founded in 1959 to provide Round Table members with a means to give back to their communities. Here we are, 50 years later, and MDRT is still giving back!

In honor of the MDRT Foundation's 50th anniversary, and to continue the MDRT Foundation's tradition of giving back, MDRT members from around the world will gather in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, April 27 through May 1, 2009, to participate in not one community service project, but three separate community service projects:
  • Finishing one Habitat for Humanity Home, and starting two more homes

  • Constructing a 12,000 square-foot colorful, state-of-the-art playground

  • Refurbishing Bradford Woods Camp Grounds

More than 75 volunteers from around the world, including MDRT members from as far away as Belgium and the United Kingdom, will participate in this project -- the largest ever volunteer service project the MDRT Foundation has embarked on.

Keep checking this blog daily to view the progress made by the generous and caring members of MDRT who are volunteering their time, and covering all of their own expenses for this important project that will bring lasting hope to the Indianapolis community.
